How do you see the world? Who do you look up to? What cause are you passionate about? What helps you get through hard times? What book or movie have you been thinking about recently?

Summer is coming, and with it a series of lay services led by – YOU!  Past summers have included a wide variety of topics including meditation, music, nature, spirituality, healing practices, travel stories, and reflections on life-changing events. We invite you to choose any topic that inspires you. The Worship Committee will help you brainstorm and flesh out a service idea.

Summer services, which begin at 10:30 am, are short, informal, and intimate. Our goal is to fill as many Sundays as possible with wonderful, inspirational services. There will be seven services this summer, beginning on July 11th, and ending on August 22nd. Three Sundays (August 8-22) are available. Please think about which date might be best for you, and contact Lynn Bratley with your idea. A checklist will be emailed to you once you choose your date. It will have all the details and logistics, and your completed checklist will be due in June.

The committee serves as the congregation’s means of actively participating in making its worship services meaningful and supportive or individual and communal spiritual growth and enhancement. The committee helps coordinate special services, lay-led services, and organizes lay-led summer services.
