“Rest as Resistance” – April 2nd, 2023

Apr 3, 2023

Rev. Sophia preaching, with Missy Shay, Melinda Dennis, Beth Tappan de-Frees, and Guy Urban.
The path of resistance is tricky business and takes multiple, even contradictory, forms. Sometimes resistance involves bravely picking up a picket sign; other times it asks us to courageously put down our masks and expose who we really are. Sometimes it involves action, and sometimes it requires rest. This Sunday, we will ask ourselves if the season of Lent might help us discover some wisdom and good balance amid these many forms of resistance and consider how rest might just save us all. Take a breath and give yourself the gift of rest and community this Palm Sunday.
