In the Search Committee’s journey since late January, when we narrowed our candidate field from 24 to 3, we have been busy!  Over the course of three weekends in February and March, we’ve conducted 12 hours of interviews, 6 hours of social gatherings, and attended 3 services hosted by other “neutral pulpit” UU congregations.  These weekends have been invigorating, deeply moving, and exhausting.  We continue to feel honored and humbled by the trust the congregation has placed in us.

Now, we begin DISCERNMENT!  (Follow the process on page 84 of the Settlement Handbook). We have scheduled ourselves 6 hours to begin this phase where we will be discussing the nuances of each potential minister’s match with FPW.  We’ll be heads down for a few weeks while we take this next step.

Here we are: on the edge of our seats waiting for the next thing.

Please join us in loud thanks to our extended families who have supported us from June 2020 as we appear and disappear on weekends, and at odd times during the week.
