John Kramer will perform a program of brilliant and beautiful music by Black composers including Florence Price, William Grant Still, Nathaniel Dett, Margaret Bonds, and Louis Moreau Gottschalk.
Pianist, composer, and arranger John Kramer has performed widely throughout the U.S. and in France and has received numerous commissions for piano, organ, orchestral, and choir music. He is Music Director at Winchester Unitarian Society and is on the faculty at Berklee College of Music.
A suggested donation of $20 benefits the Helen Robinson Wright Fund at First Parish Watertown. The Wright Fund provides modest financial assistance to individuals and families facing short-term financial hardships in Watertown.
Contributions may be made by cash or check at the door, by mailed check, or through online giving. Checks should be made out to the Helen Robinson Wright Fund c/o First Parish Watertown. This is not a ticketed event; we are grateful for your generous donations.
