Here are reminders of fun social events happening in the coming months – mark your calendars. These are easy ways to meet and enjoy more people at FPW!  Feel free to reach out to Izzy Td with any questions about helping or getting involved in any of these events. Also please share ideas for other events that you would enjoy in the future

January 8th – 2nd Sunday Social Hour – after church – hosted by Missy Shay & Martha Scott

January 28th – Saturday – Potluck and Games Night in the Social Hall – 6pm to 8pm
Enjoy a good meal and board games with friends

Starting in February – Wednesday Nights from 7pm to 9pm – FPW’s own The Band (think pick-up garage band) gets organized to select and learn tunes to play at the FPW Variety Show in May and also at the last service of the year in June. This is totally collaborative group and The Band is always delighted to welcome new singers and/or instrumentalist!!

February 11th – Saturday – Potluck and Music/Poetry Open Mic – 6pm to 8:30pm – Yummy meal and (optional) casual sharing of a song, poem or tall tale with friends. We will set up a mic in the Social Hall. Great warm up for the FPW Variety Show in May.

February 12th – 2nd Sunday Social Hour – after church – hosted by Kathy Button and the Green Sanctuary Committee

March 12th – 2nd Sunday Social Hour – after church – hosted by Jean Gauthier and the FPW choir

April 7th – Friday – Passover Seder & Potluck – 5:30pm to 7:30pm – hosted by the Hanson-Plass Family – All are welcome to come enjoy this meaningful family tradition – we share the story of the Hebrew Exodus from Slavery and reflect on its larger meaning in the world. This will be a hybrid (or virtual) event if necessary to ensure health of all interested. 

April 9th – 2nd Sunday Social Hour – after church – hosted by Melinda Dennis and the Membership Committee

May 6th – Saturday – the FPW Yard Sale – this is an all church, all day fundraising event with stuff drop-off on Friday evening. Gather your treasures to share and volunteer for a shift if you can – more details to follow

May 13th – Saturday – 3pm to 7pm – the fabulous FPW Variety Show and Potluck – featuring The Band and and all who want to share talents (musicians, magic, story-telling, poetry, artists, etc). This event is a community-building legend at FPW!

May 14th – 2nd Sunday Social Hour – after church – hosted by Judy Kamm and the Trustees

June 18th – Sunday – Afternoon Potluck Picnic following the annual Flower Service that marks the official end of the church year. The Band provides music for this service. A great way to kick off your summer holidays!
