It’s the last week of May and the summer changes of the church year approach! The annual May Pot Luck dinner and Talent show was a wonderful joyous celebration! It was full of inspiring poems, amazing magic tricks, stories, songs, music and the fabulous FPW Choir and FPW Band! We thank everyone who participated in so many different ways and a deep, grateful thanks to those who made it all happen!
As Parish Committee looks to the summer, taking some time off from meetings, we feel so much appreciation that we’ve now moved into a more settled time in our church. Our minister, Rev. Sophia, has been with us for 2 years now (time flies!). We are back together meeting in person, with many children and youth, and the added joy of continuing to be able to include those who participate virtually. May we all have a few minutes to sit back and feel the joy!
We now look forward to the church picnic that will be held on Sunday June 18th after the service and is hosted by the Fellowship Committee, a huge thank you to the committee! Hopefully the sun will shine and we’ll be able to enjoy the beautiful flowers in the memorial garden. Hope to see everyone there!

The church is governed by the Parish Committee, made up of seven members elected by the congregation at the Annual Meeting for a term of three years. The Parish Committee sets policy, hires staff, and manages the overall direction and business of the church.
