The new church year is upon us and we look forward to spending time together.
The Fellowship Committee has agreed that we should try to have one Social Hour per month with food, starting in October. We will call these the “Second Sunday Social Hour” and will be recruiting volunteers to host these events. Please watch for emails on that volunteer opportunity.
We will also be recruiting Greeters for Sunday Services – another email to watch for.
Here is a list of the fun, social events that are planned for FPW this year. We hope that you can plan to participate!
Watertown Indigenous Peoples Day
Monday October 10th 2022 – 2pm to 5pm
This free Watertown community event will be hosted at FPW – come join this celebration that will include Indigenous speakers, musicians, vendors and the historical play ‘Listen to Sipu’
Harvest Potluck Gathering
Saturday October 29th – 6:00pm to 7:30pm

Deck the Halls
Saturday December 3rd 2022 – 2pm to 5pm
Get the holiday season rolling by helping to decorate FPW inside & out. We hope to offer gift making tables and Sanctuary will offer a gift/clothes swap table. We will collect gifts to donate to children who are helped by the Boston Medical Center Growth Clinic.
Winter Solstice Celebration
Wednesday December 21st, 2022 – 6pm to 7pm
Come enjoy this magical night when sunlight returns! All are invited to collaborate on this service of poetry, music and merry making. Mulled Cider and goodies to follow.
Trivia/Game Night and Potluck
Saturday January 28th, 2023 – 6pm to 8pm
Beat the winter blues with some good fun, games and a yummy meal
Open Mic Music/Poetry Slam
Saturday February 11th 2023 – 7pm to 9pm
This will be a new ‘pass-the-mic’ event for all who want an excuse to share music or poetry with supportive friends. A great way to warm a winter night!
Passover Seder & Potluck

A fun and yummy way to learn about freedom through this meaningful family tradition

This is a super way to clear your clutter and fundraise for the church!
