Become a Member

When the time feels right for you, we would be delighted to have you make First Parish of Watertown your spiritual home by becoming a member.

Joining as a member symbolizes a sense of belonging and shared purpose. It reflects a personal decision to take a more active role in the church’s mission and to be part of its ongoing journey as a spiritual and justice-focused community.

While there is no required membership contribution or minimum giving expectation, individuals are encouraged to generously share their time and financial resources. Your valuable contributions enable the church to continue its operations and support the Watertown community. By volunteering your time, you help us thrive through the collective efforts of our members.

Each year, during a Sunday service in the spring, new members are officially welcomed into the life of the congregation through a special ceremony. Joining is easy: simply contact the Membership Committee at membership@fpwatertown.org or Rev. Sophia, and we’ll guide you through the process.
