Social Action Committee Congregational Read – Beyond Welcome: Building Communities of Love

The Social Action Committee has chosen the book Beyond Welcome: Building Communities of Love as this year's congregational read.  There will be a book discussion in late January, date still to be determined.  If you are interested in purchasing a copy, we have copies available for sale at $15 a book on the table to the right of the door in the office.  Leave cash or a check written out to Eileen Ryan, who ordered the books from The UU press, Skinner House in the envelope with the books.

Musically Speaking – December 9th, 2022

I am excited!  I just met lots of new folks at the Newcomer’s lunch and the energy in the room was awesome.  As I remember this time last year, we were ready to open our arms to each other for celebrating the holidays, singing together, being together;  and instead we needed to scale everything back to save ourselves from a Covid outbreak.  Now, we are ready to spread our wings, to embrace people new to us, and to sing our hearts out together for the holidays.
